Yacine TV Black on Android TV: Setup Guide

Put live sports on the big screen: sideload the APK on Android TV and navigate it with a remote.

What you need

An Android TV or TV box, a file manager app from the Play Store on the TV (any popular one works), and the APK file. Download the APK on your phone from the Yacine TV Black APK home page first.

Install the APK on your TV

Send the APK file to the TV: a USB drive is simplest, or use your file manager's network transfer. Open the file on the TV, allow installs from unknown sources when asked (TVs ask once, like phones), and install. The app appears in the app drawer.

The app was designed for touch, but the channel list and player work fine with a TV remote's directional pad. If selecting small buttons feels fiddly, plug in a cheap wireless mouse: it makes the whole app effortless on a TV. Long-pressing select on some remotes opens the player extra options, where you can switch the stream quality without leaving the match.

Tips for the big screen

Use a wired or strong Wi-Fi connection; big screens expose every stutter. The casting guide is the alternative if you would rather beam from your phone, and the Fire Stick guide covers Amazon's sticks.

Quick answers

Does it work on Google TV?

Yes, Google TV is Android TV under the hood. The same sideload steps apply.

Will the remote work in the player?

Play, pause, and volume work with standard remotes. A mouse helps with small buttons.
